Excitement Builds Around OpenAV Cloud Initiative at InfoComm 2025

Mountain View, California - July 8, 2025 – The OpenAV Cloud initiative generated enthusiastic support across the AV industry at InfoComm 2025, recruiting several new leading AV manufacturers and integrators to take part in the initiative. Founded last May, OpenAV Cloud’s objective is to create an open, interoperable, and a customer-first AV ecosystem that benefits the entire value chain - from manufacturers to integrators to end users, allowing end users and systems integrators to be able to deploy integrable and interoperable devices.

By developing open, cloud-based APIs and shared frameworks for secure data access and cross-brand compatibility, OpenAV Cloud empowers manufacturers, integrators, and end users to collaborate and innovate seamlessly, assuring interoperability and integration, and maximum flexibility. Prior to and during InfoComm, the initiative recruited around two dozen new contributing members, including Adobe, Appspace, AtlasIED, Avocor, Bluesound Professional, Bose Professional, ClearOne, all connected Legrand AV brands (including C2G, Da-Lite, Luxul, Middle Atlantic, Vatnage, and Vaddio), NetSpeek, Ochno, Planar, PointGrab, Sharp, Symetrix, TekVox, and Yamaha.
